The history of La Truite de la Loue

La Truite de la Loue in Quingey (25, Doubs) near Besançon is run by Davy Ruffin, passionate about the hotel and restaurant business.

After an apprenticeship at the Poker d'As (Besançon, 25, Doubs), followed by experiences at the restaurants of the Eiffel Tower and the Montparnasse Tower (Paris, 75), Davy returned to his home region, the Doubs. For 10 years, he owned a bistronomic restaurant in Besançon (25, Doubs). In 2022, he fell in love with the potential of La Truite de la Loue, which he bought and renovated to his taste.

This building in France, which dates back over 100 years, has over the years become a real institution and a landmark for the many travellers passing through the region!
